2. The Wild One
The 1953 film that defined the "Outlaw Biker", Marlon Brando plays Johhny Strabler leader of the Black Rebel Motorcycle Club and is loosely based around a small incident in 1947 known as the Hollister Riot. It is Rumored that The Beatles took their name from the other motorcycle club led by Lee Marvin, the Beetles.
3. Mad Max
This post-apocalyptic low-budget action movie is one of Austraila's top grossing films staring an unknown Mel Gibson as Max Rockatansky, a policeman seeking revenge on a drifter motorcycle gang. This movie spawned a trilogy followed by the Hollywood produced sequel Mad Max 2: The Road Warrior.
4. Quadrophenia
This movie adaptation of The Who album Quadrophenia taught a new generation the ins and outs of what it meant to be a Mod. This is a teenage coming of age classic oozing with enough angst to fill a football stadium. This is another film with an amazing soundtrack Quadrophenia (soundtrack) This is also the first film role for Sting from the rock band The Police.

5. On Any Sunday
On Any Sunday is the spirit of Motorcycling personified. This 1971 documentary features Steve McQueen, Mert Lawwill and Malcolm Smith as well as a who's who of Motorcycle racers from the 60's and early 70's. This film explores the many facets of the Motorcycle as sport and leisure and is widely accepted as the best motorcycle documentary ever made.
